Bliss Abigail Myer is having a rough go of it: her mom passed away, she’s having dreams (she thinks…) of glowing in the dark, and now she has to move down south to Mississippi to live with an aunt and cousin she’s never met.

As if life isn’t topsy-turvy enough, her arrival to the odd little town stirs up more fuss than seems warranted for a random new girl. And then strange things begin to happen when Bliss is around: electricity flickers and lightbulbs explode and shadowy figures appear. All in connection with some unsolved mystery from before Bliss was born. A mystery that’s linked to her existence.
