SUMMER CAMP: Hooks + Books Jr. (grades 3-5, 6-8)

Taught by Nancy Olivo, SCAD grad an local drawing and art guide.. This class will learn the basics of crochet and move towards learning the art of Amigurumi, the Japanese term for crochet stuffed creatures. We’ll make a basic egg shape for a body and customize the creature with yarn, needle and some ingenuity from the students! All of this while we listen to audiobooks from bestselling middle grade books hosted by the wonderful Brave + Kind Bookshop! 

Our class provides crochet materials and instruction, so come on over and see what you’ll create with some yarn and hooks… and audio books!
